Student card
Goal ?
Allow students to always have their student card in their pocket !
How ?
Through an API, a database feed or through the User Data Webservices if the information is already present in it.
By providing us with this information we can display a scannable QR code and barcode.
They can be used to check in students at the campus entrance, use a printer, access a room, pay at the cafeteria, etc.
You can enlarge the student map and see the entire QR by dragging the map to the top of the screen.
The bar below the QR gives an indication of how long before the QR is renewed.
The student map feature can show the following :
The name of the student.
The student number. (optional)
Date of birth. (optional)
Expiry date of the card. (optional)
Current school year. (optional)
School logo. (optional)
Student's photo.
The unique bar code. (optional)
A QR code that renews itself every 15 seconds. (optional)
An additional field (ex: course program)
Student ID Scanner Feature :
The Student Card Scanner feature allows you to scan QR codes presented in front of the phone. It can be useful in the context of an event for example.
The Student ID Scanner feature has two buttons :
At the top left, a button that allows you to focus.
At the top right, a button that activates the flash.
Data displayed :
Student QR Code
Unique student ID
Student's Last Name
Student's First Name
Academic Year
Concerns the private part of the application.
